Empowerment and Health Workshops: March, April, May 2019

Did you know Círculo de Amigas hosts monthly workshops for our students and their families? This March, we hosted we a session on fighting discrimination against young people, as part of a series of empowerment and education workshops CdA is co-hosting with partner organizations in Nicaragua such as Club Infantil, a youth-focused nonprofit based in Jinotega, and CODENI, a federation of Nicaraguan nonprofits working on youth issues.

This series continued in April with a workshop on sexual exploitation. And May brought two sessions: one on gender, and another on domestic violence prevention.
